Everything you wanted to know about EOS, but didn't know where to ask

WHAT IS EOS ALL ABOUT?

What is the purpose of the EOS event? EOS is your one-time-a-year opportunity to come out from cyber space and meet your western region enthusiasts, face-to-face. We cannot emphasize how much your online experience will be enhanced by meeting and personally knowing the faces behind the screen names. Getting advice, asking questions and communicating online becomes much more personalized. Many friendships have developed and you will see that the veteran members are ONE BIG FAMILY.

I am new, how can I meet members? You will find that although the NorCal members are a very tight knit group, feel free to simply introduce yourself, as we are happy to meet new members, and do so with open arms. Everyone will have screen name badges and each car will have a confirmation sheet with the owner�s screen name displayed on the dash.


WHAT IS DIFFERENT ABOUT EOS THIS YEAR?

This year EOS will be presented by LGWNorcal and our net proceeds will be supporting Second Harvest Food Bank. In past events other corporatations have sponosored in the past, and now they have joined with LGWNorcal to help with event organization and industry recognition This partnership will ensure the growth and evolution of EOS for years to come.

Unlike previous EOS events, raffle prizes will not be awarded at the end of the show. Instead, they will be announced throughout the day, so be sure to keep an ear open if your number is called when the item you want is up for raffle.

This year Hiller Aviation Museum is the official location of EOS8! Not only will you see more Lexus cars in one location then any other part of the United States, you will also see planes of years gone by and can experience a family friendly atmosphere. There is even a play area for little ones!


WHY ARE THERE DIFFERENT PRICES TO ENTER THE EVENT?

The main reason for the entry fee this year is to cover the added cost of operating expenses, venue expenses, etc. This event has far exceeded its humble �grassroots� heritage, and has become bigger than any of us could have ever expected. But the good part is that this has allowed EOS to evolve into the largest organized Lexus event in the US.

Tiered pricing has been offered to tailor the cost of entry to suit your budget and activity level. The Ultimate and Premier packages actually make the entry cost a great value for the dollar.


REGISTRATION

Does it cost anything to enter? Yes there is a fee, but spectators are free.

Do I have to be a member of ClubLexus or my.IS or LGWNorCal in order to attend? No, just register for the event on LGWNorCal. Membership is not required.

Can I register the day of the event by just showing up? There is the possibility of registering the day of the event, but spaces will be limited based upon remaining space available at the venue. These will be given on a first come, first served basis, so come early if you choose to go this route.

Can I still purchase T-shirts after online registration is closed? Yes, T-shirts will be available for sale at the event. Quantities may be limited however.

Can I still buy raffle tickets after online registration is closed? Yes raffle tickets will be available at the event for registered attendees only. Spectators are not eligible for any raffle items.

What happens if I need to cancel my attendance? If you have to cancel and you have already paid for the event, please contact LGW immediately. What happens if I forget to bring my confirmation number and confirmation sheet on the day of the event? You will be admitted to the event, but only after we verify your registration and payment. Please try to bring this information with you, as it will cause delays for everyone involved.

Do I need to register my guests? No. Guest registration is not necessary.

Can a non-Lexus vehicle enter EOS? Sorry, during all the other meets that we hold throughout the year, other makes are always welcome, but due to the overwhelming vehicle attendance and limited space available, we must restrict attendance to Lexus cars only.


EVENT ENTRY

How can I best be prepared for this event? Print out your confirmation sheet, write down the number and leave keep it in your glove compartment until the day of the event. Tidy up your car and arrive early for a good reserved parking spot and enjoy.

When should I arrive? Historically, people have been known to line up at the event as early as 7:30am. Gates open at 8:30am. Some are looking for a front row parking location, others simply want the extra time to clean their cars, while others just realize that there are so many people attending that getting there early is the best way to meet and have enough talk time.

Can I attend if I can't make it before the 10am gate closing time? You can still attend the event, but vehicle entry closes at 10am. Exceptions may apply on a case-by-case basis, BUT FOR EMERGENCIES ONLY! You can still obtain your EOS T-shirt and other goodies, but ONLY if you pre-paid online.

Are there vehicle in and out priveleges? No, you can leave the event at any time, but we cannot guarantee re-entry. There is plenty of safe parking outside. Bring your own food with you if you do not wish to purchase the food available at the event.


GENERAL INFORMATION

Can I bring the family? Yes, please do!

Will there be food available? Yes, a food vendor will be available all day to purchase hot and cold food & drink at reasonable prices. Bring your own food with you if you do not wish to purchase the food available at the event. There are also restaurants around the area within walking distance.

Will there be raffle prizes for my car? Yes, the raffle prizes are such that you will only win an item that is applicable to your car. Example: The Daizen Sway Bar prize will be available for every model of Lexus for which there is an application offered by Daizen. However, only one sway bar prize will be awarded, NOT one sway bar for each model.

Will moderators be there? We have always had several ClubLexus moderators attend EOS. To name drop a few: LXOGOOD, Flipside909, Rominl, NEO, RMMGS4 and the ClubLexus CEO �Static911� have attended in the past.

Can I purchase the EOS commemorative T-shirt at the event? Yes, they will be available for sale, but quantities may be limited. Price will be $15 each.
